Backing onto open fields leading up to Caputh Hill, the bright and comfortable Kirkhill Cottage puts you firmly away from the bustle of Dunkeld & Birnam in just a few minutes. Guests can enjoy the beautiful countryside from Kirkhill's garden - perhaps even seeing the red kites, pheasants, roe and fallow deer which have been spotted by previous guests. From the garden gate there are opportunities to walk up across Caputh Hill towards Dunkeld on the old 'coffin trail' or down to stroll along the banks of the Tay to stand where Georgina Ballantine caught her record 64lb salmon back in 1922.
Sleeps up to 4 with one king sized double bedded room and one twin bedded room.

As city dwellers who are used to the hustle and bustle of city life, Kirkhill Cottage has allowed us to achieve the quiet, cozy, family orientated country escape we were looking for. Beautiful countryside, wonderful walks, all we need within relatively close proximity, the perfect base for a nice, relaxing family holiday. Would highly recommend. We would definitely come again Alice
My wife and I plus our two young children stayed at Kirkhill Cottage for a week this August and I can highly recommend it. The cottage is very well located for visiting the attractions around Perthshire, in a small, quiet village which is only 20 minutes from Perth. Everything that you need is provided and the cottage is well furnished. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive too. Luke
