1.5 miles north of Pitlochry. Take the A924, turn left at the Moulin Hotel, then left again to Balnacraig where there is a small car park. The walk is on clear woodland paths and returning, in part on a dirt road. There is a steep section near the summit but is otherwise a failry gentle climb.Popular with lepidopterists with fourteen butterfly species recorded.
