The opportunity to choose from three different walks, each commencing from the small car park which is signposted ‘Woodland Walks’ off the Kenmore/Amulree road.
• The Larch walk is a gentle stroll through the forest to a small summit with lovely views of Kenmore and Loch Tay.
• The Waterfall walk is slightly longer and leads to the Allt a’ Bhealach gorge, a favourite with outdoor activity providers.
• The longest of the three walks commences with an ascent to the summit of Kenmore Hill and offers panoramic views of Loch Tay, Schiehallion and Ben Lawers. The trail then continues downhill onto a track that leads back to the car back.
Walkers should keep an eye out for red grouse and their less familiar cousin the black grouse, as well as buzzards and kestrels – occasionally the magnificent golden eagle has been sighted!
