Woodland, lochs and moorland - this route is classic Highland Perthshire, offering a great day out with warm pubs and great accommodation awaiting your return!

Head out from Dunkeld or park in the Cally car park (off the Blairgowrie road), take the main fire road uphill, continuing through the gate towards Mill Dam, at Mill Dam continue to follow the main fire road on the left of the loch, passing two smaller lochs, until you reach Loch Ordie.  At Loch Ordie take a right then right again following the waymarkers through the gate, follow this path all the way downhill back to Mill Dam.  This down is fairly rough and can pick up a lot of speed on the bike.  Follow the fire road back to the car park or take the signposted left for an alternative route into Dunkeld.
