With over 220 years of history and experience . . . Perth Museum & Art Gallery have collected objects to document and reflect the changing environment of Perth & Kinross. The entire collection has been designated as a Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland.
The collection is too big, and some items are too sensitive, for everything to be on display at the same time. Permanent displays and galleries include: All that Glistens, Beakers Bowls & a Thousand Flowers, Communion Tokens, For the Kirk of Perth, Furniture & Faces, The St Madoes Stone, The Time of our Lives, Wild & Wonderful Perthshire. Opening HoursMonday - Saturday, 10.00am to 5.00pm (exclduing Christmas & New Year public holidays).
Sunday opening, 1.00pm - 4.30pm (until 26th August 2012)
FacilitiesBaby changing facilities are available in both male & female toilets.
For visitors with a disability the facilities include steps with handrails, a ramp and a wheelchair lift into the building. Inside, most public areas are on one level with fully accessible toilets. There is also free use of a wheelchair during your visit if required. Please note there is no wheelchair or assisted access to the Upper Round Gallery and there is a short flight of 5 steps to access and exit the Sculpture Court.
AccreditationPerth Museum & Art Gallery is fully accredited under the Accreditation Scheme administered by the Museums Libraries and Archives Council. The entire collections are designated as a Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland.
