Chesthill Estate is a small family estate run along traditional lines, the core activities are sheep and cattle farming, salmon and trout fishing and red and roe deer stalking, which combine together throughout the year to provide a sustainable programme. Directly and indirectly the estate underwrites several families and numerous individuals who manage the various aspects of this diverse business in this fragile area of Scotland.

Clay Pigeon Shooting and Country Pursuits
The Estate majors on providing tuition in shooting Clay Targets. We have an extensive sporting layout providing combinations for all levels of shooting and tuition. Whilst we specialise in tutoring the beginner, we also challenge the experienced shot. Visitors to the shooting ground include families and young people, holiday visitors, hen and stag parties and corporate clients.
Chesthill offers a range of county sports in season:
Salmon and Brown Trout Fishing (April – October)
Woodland Roe Deer Stalking (throughout the year)
Open Hill Red Deer Stalking (July – February)
