The name 'Weem' is derived from the Gaelic word 'uamh', meaning cave. This circular trail is way-marked as it climbs through Weem Wood, up craggy slopes and past mysterious sculptures. On reaching St. David's well, named after the son of a 15th century laird from Castle Menzies, admire the exhilarating views on offer over the River Tay, Aberfeldy and Strathtay.
