Audrey Slorance is a Scottish artist based in Aberfeldy, her main inspiration comes from the Scottish landscape and architecture which she interpret in her unique style into bright, colourful and cheerful paintings. Audrey enjoys painting a variety of subjects. You will find rivers, lochs and seashore, trees and hedgerows, castles and cottages, as well as animals and birds.
Audrey was born in Dundee and spent her early years in Penicuik and West Linton. Having enjoyed ten years as a Police Officer in Lothian & Borders Police, Audrey left in 1992 to study for a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Printed Textile Design at the Heriot Watt, Scottish College of Textiles in Galashiels, graduating in 1996. As a self employed printed Textile Designer Audrey's artwork was sold throughout the UK, Europe and the U.S.A.
The gallery only exhibits Audrey's own artwork and currently all her paintings are here. As well as larger framed paintings she also has some smaller pieces and sketches available for sale. You can also find a range of cards and prints as well as coasters, tablemats and mugs of Audrey's own art work and sold exclusively in the Audrey Slorance Gallery.
Normal Opening hours:10.30 to 5pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. (with the exception of those days on which the farmers market is held).
